In 2008 Design Forum changed its name to Interbrand Design Forum to reflect its place in the world’s largest branding consultancy; the company has been part of Interbrand since 2002.

Interbrand started in 1974 when the world still thought of brands as just another word for logo. We have changed the dialogue, defined the meaning of brand management and continue to lead the debate on understanding retail brands as valuable business assets.
